Social search will continue to change the local marketing landscape. When searching for a local business, the ability to get search results that have already been "vetted" or "pre-screened" by one's friends or social graph has enormous value. It not only promises to be a better search experience, but one that potentially saves time through a shorter search cycle, and money by avoiding costly purchase decisions that turn out to be wrong.
