Today’s bonus tracks: Novelist writing with Twitter as a guide
Novelist Neil Gaiman is turning to Twitter for help with his next project. Gaiman started his story on Tuesday by tweeting, “Sam was brushing her hair when the girl in the mirror put down the hairbrush, smiled & said, ‘We don’t love you anymore.’”Gaiman invited fans to tweet continuations of the story, saying he will take the first 1,000 messages and fashion them into an audio book. I love this concept. As a computer science major and author, I’m constantly looking for ways to combine technology with creative writing. It would be great to see how Neil’s book turns out. My current ideas of combining technology with my book projects have been Book Based Blogs and my upcoming book, “Facebook Addiction: The Life and Times of Social Networking Addicts.” People have been currently uploading their Facebook Addiction stories to the associated blog: http://www.TheFacebookAddiction.com/blog
