It has gotten better, but for the most part it takes too long to use, crashes too often, and has too many duplicates or venues missing. The idea of launching before all the kinks are worked out has its merits, and early adopters are used to products that are buggy. But as the speed of adoption increases, so too must the speed of optimization. Foursquare needs to step it up if it's really going to be the next big thing. It would be great if Foursquare just worked.
