How do you know if your social campaign is working? Here’s a simple tip from Thomas McMahon: pick a metric. Any metric will do, but once you’ve picked a focus, track it relentlessly. If your methods are successful, you’ll see an uptick in your chosen area that is probably indicative of wider success. But until you pick a value, set a benchmark and collect some data, it’s impossible to tell if your efforts are helping or not. McMahon shares this and six other tricks for figuring out if your strategy is a winner. For more winning social strategies, check out SmartBrief on Social Media.
