We had an overwhelmingly exciting and productive day at Buzz2009 yesterday. Jeremy Epstein of Never Stop Marketing wrapped up the day with an exercise to help everyone put all of their newfound social media smarts to good use. The room broke into small groups and took about 15 minutes to come up with one simple strategy they could employ the next day. Here’s a few of our favorites:
- One group with a member from an optics organization made a plan to challenge the organization’s student chapters worldwide to create laser graffiti shows and post them on YouTube.
- Another group made a plan for an organization that represents children’s hospitals to host tours of the hospitals for mommy bloggers.
- A third group planned to set up Twitter accounts for each of its association’s internal departments to keep the whole organization informed.
Whether you were with us in Washington, D.C., yesterday or watching via webcast, what changes to your organization’s social media strategy has Buzz 2009 inspired you to take?
