Hi, very interesting post (2 years later)! I am just working on a piece on how annoying I find Facebook ads. I don't want to block them or anything, my thought here would be "Facebook, you're doing it wrong". I do understand all this targeting demographics thing, but to be honest, ads are rarely relevant for the Facebook user and very often contradictory. I am tired of baby products ads (I don't have children), I am tired of online dating agencies ads just because I am listed as single and as far as all dieting and getting fit ads are concerned, they're somewhat offensive. Moreover, is the quality of the landing website evaluated at all? the few times I have clicked on an ad, I did not found what I expected.
My recent post <a href="http://jessicaminghinelli.wordpress.com/2011/02/02/%E2%99%A5-love-%E2%99%A5-love-%E2%99%A5-love-%E2%99%A5/" rel="nofollow">♥ LOVE ♥ LOVE ♥ LOVE ♥ Valentine’s ideas for him &amp her</a>
