I believe that the difficulty of finding a new job plays a part in that, considering the high qualifications that are sometimes needed or even the prejudice that may exist against veterans. After all the sacrifices they’ve done, it is not the ideal welcome back. On the other hand, veterans do have a lot of benefits they can apply for, and their existence is justified.
