		<description>Having just completed just such a survery, I am not deluded into thinking much of anything will truly be changed from the results.  Did I write honestly--absolutely!  Will the results be skewed negatively because of my responses--yes, again.  I am engaged, just not hopeful.  I believe in giving forthright responses whether or not they will be respected, acted upon and taken seriously.  &quot;Be glad you have a job&quot; is definitely the common mantra we hear. </description>

Essentially that a conversation, whether in the form of a survey, a one-on-one session, or a town hall meeting is the beginning of engagement.  Conversations are all about two-way exchange.  Listening is the beginning.  Truly appreciating the feedback is a good start.  Taking actions creates the safety zone for employees to contribute again.
