Sold-out success: Buzz2009

Last week’s Buzz2009 Social Media for Associations brought together association leaders, social-media experts and others to focus on concepts and strategies to make the most out of social-media tools and innovations. The daylong event was sponsored by SmartBrief and SocialFish, in conjunction with SmartBrief partner IAB.

The sold-out crowd learned from the best — Guy Kawasaki and Andy Sernovitz, among others — how to harness the power of social media for their associations and consultancies. The crowd was full of SmartBrief partners — including representatives from CTIA — The Wireless Association, the National Retail Federation, the Consumer Electronics Association, the National Restaurant Association, AABB and others — as well as folks from leading organizations such as the National Association of Realtors, NACS — The Association for Convenience & Petroleum Retailing and the School Nutrition Association.
