How restaurants are handling the egg recall

- My restaurant has changed suppliers — 4.69%
- We’ve altered or removed some egg menu items — 7.81%
- Haven’t changed a thing! — 87.5%
Fortunately for the restaurant industry as a whole, many states have not been affected by the egg recall. On the other hand, restaurants that serve many breakfast items had the most to lose.The Denver Post profiled several restaurants whose eggs were either not affected by the recall or who lost a minimal amount of eggs. Many restaurants such as Las Vegas’ Jamms threw out eggs just as a precaution. Similarly, New England local farms and shops were not linked directly to the recall, but that didn’t stop some restaurants from switching suppliers and changing up their menus.
